Well I have just started a new home based business. It is selling designer jeans under vault denim for 50% off!! Now who doesn't like a screaming deal like that?! We have over 50 different labels and the best part is the price. They range in price from $48-$88. Most of the jeans sell in high end retail stores ranging in price from $125-$300.

How in the world do you get them so inexpencive then? A man out of Salt Lake City who has been in the desinger denim business for 9 years started the company. He knows a lot of the desingers and has many contacts in the industry. He is able to buy last season and over stalk jeans at a deap discount. With out his conections this business would not be posible.

So how does it work? Well we do in home trunk events. We bring the jeans to the host's house, they have all of there frinds over to try on jeans. They find the ones that they love buy them and take them home! It is a great time with the ladies trying in jeans and hanging out.

This company is only 6 month old and is growing fast! I am excited to get in on the ground level!

Today, Monday June 28th, the insurance adjuster came to go over our claim. They covered all of the damages!! We were very blessed as most people are not getting covered. We are now able to replace ruined computers and replace the other ruined drywall. God was really watching out for us.

Intersting weekend

Well it has been a long fun and very interesting weekend. It all started on Thursday (I know that is not the weekend) when Sara and Brad came in from St. Louis. Sara is Andy's sister and Brad is her husband. They came in for Vicki's, Andy's mom, 60th birthday. Vicki did not know they were coming so I went and go them from the airport and took them to my house to hang out till our dinner that night. We all went to have dinner and at that point we surprised Vicki with Sara and Brad. It was a wonder full dinner and Vicki was pleasantly surprised.

Then on Friday we had lunch with all of Andy's family and then I can home and decorated Vicki's cake for Saturday. I also made the pulled pork for Saturday. Then that evening Sara and Brad came over to our house. Andy and Brad played with the boys and the wii while Sara and I had some things for the party on Saturday.

Saturday we went to the picot graph caves and lunch at Red Bobin. Then Sara made up a story to leave and we went over to Jean's, Vicki's sister, to get ready for the party. For the last two months Jean, Sara and I had been planning a big surprise birthday party. At 6 Vicki and Duncan came over for what Vicki thought was going to be a family dinner. We had some where between 30 and 40 people come to celebrate with us. She had no idea and was completely surprised. She later said that it was her best birthday ever.

Then Sunday came. It was father's day so Owen gave Andy the mug that he made him. Then we headed of to church. After church we went to my parent for lunch and to spent some time with my dad. Atfer a great time with my family we headed into Billings to see Vicki and Duncan, Andy's step dad. On our way into Billings a storm had started and we had a ston of hail, rain and really close lightning. We say lightning strik a telephone pole 100 yards from our car. Then about 1 minutes after we got the Vicki and Duncan's the tornado sirans went off. Sure enough ther was a tornado so we headed to the basement for shelter for over and hour. We came to find out that it hot in the Hights and did a lot of damage. It took the roof off of the Metra, leveled a few other buismesses in the Hights and did damage to more. Then there were flash flood warnings and masive flooding in the Hights and downtown Billings. So after the storm setteled we headed to our house to see if we had any damage. We found that our garage, Andy's office, had flooded. There was water that reached about 10 inches up the walls and we were left with a muddy mess. So we started the clean up with the help of Vicki and Jean.

It was a long weekend, but we loved all the time that we got to spend with our families. We just did not like that it had to end with the flooding.

Owen

Owen has been saying some very funny things lately. Just the other night he told Andy and me that he wants a Thomas the train tattoo when he is 24. Andy told him that he would be fine with that, but he could not get any other tattoo's or they would have words! He told my mom a few weeks ago that he was a big boy now. Then he posed for a few moments and then said "I am just short." He calls Tay and Brayden his friend cousins.

He is also doing a lot of new things. Owen is just like Andy and he thinks just like him as well. Owen is just under 3 1/2 years old right now and is starting to spell. He can spell his name, mom, dad, fox, red and robin. Those are the ones that he know of the top of his head. He is also starting to sound words out and recognizes some other words in sentences or on signs. He recognizes the words that he can spell as well as pop and pirate. He loves to play the "learn to read" games on starfall.com.

Owen loves to constantly be learning something new and loves to read some of Andy's old books. One of his favorites right now is "How things work". I do not know why a 3 year old likes to read this book because it is about a 6th grade level but he loves it. He also likes some science books that we borrowed from some friends. Even though he loves these books he does still ask for story books from time to time.

He also knows his name, and yes he can say Niemantsverdriet, and no he can not spell it. He knows his address and what city and state he lives in. He also knows left and right.

It is fun to see him growing up!

That's Hot

No, this is not a post about Paris Hilton! This really is not funny at all. Beau was burned the other day at the baby sitters. She was making lunch on the stove top while the oven was on. The kids were all playing in the other room but Beau came into the kitchen. He was trying to get Joyce so she stuck her leg out in an attempt to block him from coming to close to the stove. While she did that he reached out and grabbed the door to the oven. The oven was closed but his little fingers fit in the side of the door and he got burned.

So she called to tell me what had happened and sent me a picture of his fingers as they were blistering so that I could decide what I needed to do for him. I called my mom and sent her the picture and we decided that I needed to call the doctor. They wanted to see him, so I went and got the boys and took him in to the Doc. She took a look at it and said that I need to keep it clean and re bandage it everyday. I have to take him back in for a follow up visit tomorrow.

He really is being a trooper considering his hand has to be so bandaged up. He tries to pick the blisters so I have to be creative in my bandaging. I am hoping that his blisters do not pop and get infected.

Boy's

I need to write down what the boys are doing so that I do not forget. So for those of you that read this you might not care about this but I know that one day I will regret it if I do not write these things down. And since I am not good and putting it in their baby books, you get to hear about it.

Beau:

Started to walk at 13 months. He took his first steps at 12 months. He is still a bit unbalanced and his face is a testament to that! I guess that a beat up face comes with the falls of learning to walk. But why is it that they always land on the hardest thing around. Just the other day his face found the bed frame of Owen's bed instead of the mattress.
He tries to say hi, bye, thank you and I love you but none of them are very clear. He has the rhythm of them down. He is learning to do baby sign and will say more, eat and all done.
He has great fine motor skills. He uses his fingers to pick things up. He loves to help pick up toys and of course get all of them out. He also loves to help throw his diapers away.
He really wants to be one of the big boys. He is always tagging along. If they go down stairs he does. Of they come up stairs, he does.
He loves to play peek-a-poo and patty cake. He also loves to be tickled!

Owen:

He loves to wrestle with his little brother, who he ofter refers to as his bog brother!
He loves to play his ABC game (aka. starfall.com).
He knows his address and what city and state he lives in.
He knows his full name and yes he can say Niemantsverdriet.
He can spell Owen and no we have not started with Niemantsverdriet!
He knows all of the alphabet and can tell you every letter (not in order) and what sound it makes.
He loves to read.
He loves to pray. Tonight he thanked God for his eyes, covers, brother, mom, dad, food and fingers. He often thanks God for Jesus and taking away our sins!

This is late by almost a month but late is better then never, right? Beau turned 1 on February 11th. We have a small family dinner with cake and ice cream to celebrate. It is hard to believe that a year has already passed and my baby is 1. He is such a joy and blessing to our family. Beau is our little monkey, he loves to crawl and climb on everything. He has a hard time sitting still and love to follow his bog brother around. Even though he is always on the go he loves to give hugs and kisses and he listens really well!! He loves to follow all of us around the house but if anyone goes down stairs he crawls right up to the edge and stops. For some reason he is a afraid to venture down the stairs even though we have been showing him how to go down crawling backwards. Since his birthday he has been standing up on hos own a lot more and has been taking a few steps. It wont be long and he will be walking.

Sunny Florida!

January 20-25 we went to Florida to visit our friends Steve and Judy Maehl. We flew down with Jason, Steve's brother. Andy, Steve and Jason are all best friends and have been for years now. Two years ago Steve and Judy moved to Orlando and this January was our second time going to visit.

The first day that we arrived we had a nice day dinner, gave the kids baths and played games.

The next day we went to Epcot for the morning and then Magic Kingdom for the rest of the day. Steve and Judy have a friend that is a chef at one of the restaurants in Epcot and he was kind enough to give us free passes! We all love Disney World and all that it has to offer. I think that Andy and I have just as much, if not more, fun then the kids do! Neither of us are a fan of fair rides so we always thought that we would not like Disney but that is Not the case. If you ever have the chance to go you should.

The secomd day we all slept in and then Judy and I went out to Ikea and the mall to shop for awhile. Then we meet up with the boys and the kids to go to another mall. The boys went to see Avatar in 3d while Judey and I took the kids to a play area that is all inflatable. After the boys got out of the movie we all went out to dinner. It was a fun and slightly relaxing day.

The next day we got up and got all the kids packed up to head to the beach! We all stayed in a 4 bedroom condo and a very nice exclusive resort in Palm Coats Beach. Steve is a travel agent and gets amazing deals on places so we were able to stay at a place that we would not other wise be able to. The resort was amazing. Every thing was private including the beach. You acually can not even get into the front desk or on the property with out a reservation. On our way to the resort we stoped at a strawberry pach and pick fresh berries for breakfast! They were amazing. After we got to the resort we went to the beach for a few minutes, to was very windy and cold, and then went swimming. We ended the day with making dinner in the room and playing games.

The fourth day we check out of the resort and headed to St. Augustine. This is the oldest town in the U.S. It was amazing to see and learn all the history of the town. We took a trolly tour of the historic distric that lasted most of the day with the time that we got off the take some more tours. This town really is amazing. You should to some ready about it. We ended the day with a very late lunch on the beach and then drove back to Orlando.

The next day we had to pack up and head to the air port for our long trip home. Owen had gotten sick just before we headed to Florida and Beau got his cold while we were on vacation. The poor little guy had a fever of 102.4 with an ear infection on the way home. He did really well flying even with his ears hurting.

We miss our dear friend so much but really do enjoy our trips to Florida to spend our much missed tiem with them.

A new 1st!

Beau has had a lot of new 1st things lately. He has said his first word, stood up by himself, got his first tooth, clapped his hands, waved good bye and got his first hair cut. I was holding on to that baby hair for as long as I could, but I finally broke down and gave him a hair cut. I am sure that if some one would have walked into my moms house and saw us they would have thought that we were torching him! I took me, Andy, my mom and Mitch to keep his hands out of the way and to distract him in order for me to get it all cut. He now looks like such a big boy. I have to admit it was much harder for me to say good bye to the baby locks on Beau then it was Owen. They always look so much older after that first hair cut. before after

A Thomas Celebration!

Well, today, December 6th, is Owens 3rd birthday! I can not believe that he is already three. God has truly blessed Andy and I with this adorable, loving, calm, fun,pleasant little boy, Owen. O loves Thomas the train and has been talking about having a Thomas Birthday for months now. So I had to deliver. It all started on Friday when I made the cake. I have to say that I am very pleased with the cake. I am not a baker, but I gave it a try. I am now thinking that I would like to get into decorating cakes! I really enjoyed it. Then today Owen came into bed with Andy and I to cuddle and I told him the story of the day that he was born. He thought that I was just so silly! It was nice for me to remember back to that day and what joy it was to have Owen join our family. Then we all headed to church and O got to move up from the nursery to the pre-k class. He is now officially part of the Sunday school program, and he thinks that he is such a big kid now, even though he cried. After church we headed home for lunch. My family all came over to eat at our house, we usually eat at my parents on Sunday's, after lunch everyone else joined us for O's Thomas celebration. He had quite the turn out. Both sets of grandparts came, aunt Lissa and the boys, uncle Mitch, Sara and Maya Kane, anut Jean, and Teresa and Josh Beck. It was a wonderful day to Celebrate Owen!

A new first!

Owen had a great new first today. He went skiing with his dad! We headed up to Red Lodge today and Andy and Owen went to the ski hill for opening day. Andy taught Owen the two basic fundamentals to skiing, french fries and pizza. What do french fries and pizza have to do with skiing? Well French fries is what you tell them to point their skies down hill to go and pizza is for slowing down and stopping. When they got back Owen was so proud of himself and told me all about how to do french fries and pizza and how he rode on the chair lift! Andy is glad that he has a new ski partner, even if it means that he does not get a good day of skiing in. I am thinking that I will have to pick it up again so that we can all go as a family!

long over due

Well we have been very busy, so I have not been very good at blogging. In the month and a half, since my last blog, we have taken out our old patio and had a new one put in, I have been doing some design work at the church and for a friend, Beau has started cruising and we had Halloween. I will share a few picture to share for now. Be watching for blogs with my design work and the patio in the future. Oh I have also lost more weight and gotten a new hair cute.

So lets start with Beau, he will be nine months on the 11th and we still do not have any teeth. He is such a mommies boy. I lights up when I walk in the room. It just melts a mom's heart. Now it is not so nice the times that I am trying to get laundry, cooking, cleaning and just need a break and all he does in cry because he only wants mom. He is also a wiggle worm. This kid never sits still. He crawls all over everything. He loves his independence and being able to get around.

Owen has a great imagination and loves to play like he is a super hero. He is always pretending to be something and it usually involves bad guys or monsters that he has to kill or hide from.

For Halloween we went to "Boo at the Zoo" with my sister Melissa , her boys and my father-in-law Duncan. We all had a great time. Then we took Owen to a few neighbors and friends ending at Andy's parents house. The boys stayed with Vicki and Duncan while Andy and I went to a friends house for a party. The 30th Down Town Billing s had trick-or-treating and participating businesses so my mo m and I took all 4 boys down. It was a lot of fun!

A day at the zoo!

In August my parents took the three older boys to the zoo. They lucked out and were able to see all the animals really well and as you can see the bear came right up to the window. The boys thought that is was fun to have the bear so close to them. Owen liked seeing the tiger the best. Brayden liked watching the otters swim and play the best and Tay liked the bear the most.

Every night Andy and I pray with Owen before he goes to bed and tell him that we love him. Lately we have been telling him that we love him very much but that God loves him even more then we do and that he sent his son to die on the cross to take away our sins. So now when we tell him that we love him he says yes and God too. Then we ask him why and he tells us because Jesus died on the cross. It is so cute to see him growing up and learning that God loves him! Our prayer is that our boys would come to know Jesus as there forever friend at a young age.

Family Reunion

So this is a long past due post, but I guess that late is better then never. The end of July we had a Preuit family reunion up by Lillie Lake. We had a blast even though we were missing a lot of the family. We did some fishing, hiking( we were told that the lake was a short walk around this bend and it ended up being two miles. And Andy had to carry Beau in the car seat instead of the Maya wrap), eat some good food and sat around talking.

We stayed for two night and both boys did really well. Andy and Owen sleep in the tent while Beau and I stayed with my parents in the camper.

We had five little boys around. They all had so much fun playing out side together. If my grandparents were still alive they would have five great grandsons with the first girl on the way. They would have loved to been able to see all of these great grandkids.

Of my moms three siblings her brother Ron and his family, with the exception of Kyle, were all their. Then my moms sister and her husband came for the day on Saterday, we missed their girls and thir husbands. Then we were missing all of Kelly's family.Maybe next year we will get the rest of the family to join us.

Red Lodge trips

In July we were able to take two trips to Red Lodge. One was with some of our good friends and the other was with some of Andy's family.

Our first trip was July 10-12th with Steve, Judy, Sienna, Taylor, Jason, Katie and Kelsey. This was such a fun trip. Steve and Judy moved to Florida last summer along with their daughter Sienna. Judy was pregnant with Taylor so this was our first time to meet him, and he is so cute. Taylor and Beau are only a month or two apart in age so it was fun to see the interact with each other. We all hung out at the house, celebrated Andy's birthday with a big bbq rib dinner, went fishing and 4wheeling, played games and hung out at the Maehl's camping spot. It was a great weekend in all.

Our second trip was with Andy's parents his aunt's, Margret, Jean and Terri and Uncle Paul. It was so nice to see all of them as they all live out of state, with the exception on Jean, so we do not get to see them very often at all. We all enjoyed many great meals, including a picnic at a lake just out side of town, played games and caught up on each others lives. We had to cut our time short by one night as Andy was not feeling well, but we loved every minute that we were able to spend with the family.

Thomas the Train!

Well Thomas the Train came to Billings the 10th true the 12th and we headed down to the depot to see him. Vicki got Owen and Andy tickets to ride Thomas and Owen was thrilled. Andy and Owen headed down to ride and I met them latter on after the ride was over. My mom and sister also joined us with Tay and Brayden. The boys all had a great time but I think that Owen was by far the most excited. Owen loves Thomas and we heard all about it for days after it was over! He had a tattoo on his arm that we were not allowed to was when he had baths! I actually just got it off last Friday.

4th of July

Well I was doing a little better over the weekend so we decided to go to Laurel so the Andy and Owen could see the fire works and have a bbq with my family. I just hung out mostly and had my soft food!!! I was so jealous of every one eating hamburgers. I am not doing much talking right now either so I could not even enjoy and nice visit with anyone. I was able to watch the boys have fun with some fire crackers. Owen is afraid of them but he loved poppers. I was able to get him to help me light a couple smoke bombs after a lot of convincing him that it would be okay.

Well Beau has started eating rice cereal and he loves it. It is so cute to watch him get so excited to see that spoon coming. He starts kicking his feet and flailing his arms round.

Tonsils

Well on Monday I had my tonsils taken out and let me tell you that it sucks. I wish that they would have been taken out when I was a kid because kids recover from this surgery a lot faster and easier then adults do. So I went in at 9:30 and was is surgery at around 11. The surgery was about 45 minutes and I was told that it went really well. I did not leave to go home till 4:30. I had gotten sick from the pain medication that they gave me so they then gave me something to help my stomach but that mad me really sleepy so it took much longer for me to be able to leave. About an hour after we got home I ended up throwing up and wishing that I had never had the surgery in the first place. I pretty much just ended up sleeping the rest of the day after that. Vicki took the kids for us during the surgery and Melissa took them over night. Then on Tuesday my mom and Melissa came over with all of the boys and helped to take care of me. Melissa took the boys over night once again and at 3 in the morning I woke up throwing up again. Man I was so miserable. Throwing up after having surgery on your throat is not the greatest feeling in the world. So Andy called the doctor in the morning and we found out that I was getting sick from my pain medication and that I needed to cut down on how much I was taking and add Motrin to my regiment. He also said that I need to be eating more to help but it is really hard to eat when you can not swallow very well. Then Vicki took the boys over night on Wednesday. I have had a much better day today and have been able to eat a little more. I have been enjoying yogurt, pudding, chicken noodle soup, mashed avocado, cream of wheat and carnation instant breakfast. I was also able to do a little talking today. I was told that it is a 10 to 14 day recovery for adults so I still have a little ways to go. I am hoping that when this is all said and done that I am glad that I had the surgery. I do not know what I would have done without the help of my family. They have been so much help to me with taking care of the boys and me. Thank you so much mom. Melissa and Vicki. I appreciate all the help that you have given me.

Updates, Updates, Updates

I have been so busy the last two months and have been bad at making the time to blog so I thought that I would do some catching up. I have posted two other blogs about the kids along with this one.
Well we have been doing tons of yard work and have mountains more to do. I think that we are just growing weeds! I have been redoing flower beds as they were over flowing with weeds that I thought that it would be better to just start over. We are also in the proses of taking out our old patio and putting in a new larger one. We have cut down three trees, two over grown lilac bushes gotten rid of a shed and dog kennel. Man we have been hard at it.
I just got done with Vacation Bible School last week. I was so tired by the end of the week but it was all worth it. We raised money for a great mission Vision Beyond Borders and we had 14 kids say that they accepted Christ for the first time. Praise the Lord! I had worked so hard and long on VBS. It was our first one in years. I think that next years will be even bigger and better!! The Lord truly does great things in kids lives at VBS.
We have also had family visiting from out of town and have some good friends coming on the 4th of July. I am hopoing that I will be all recoverd from my tonsilectomy by the time that they come to visit. Yes I have to have surgery on the 29th and I am getting very nervouse about it. I have heard how hard it is for adults to have this surgery. I hope that I feel much better after this is all said and done.
Andy has been hard at work as it is summer and this is his busy time of the year. School is out for the summer and he has to go and do all of the updating and work out all the kinks that they can not work on while school is in session. He will be going to Vegas for two nights with his friend Steve in July while Steve is in town visiting. This just came about the other night as Judy, Steves wife, decided that she was not going to go and leave thier baby. So it looks like Andy is going to take her place and gets to have a fun vacation with his friend with out kids or thier wives around. I have yet to figure out how I get to do this some day!!
I think that that just about does it. It sould be a great summer. That is if we get all of uor yard work done!

Beau Update

Beau is now four months and is growing like crazy. He wants to be mobile so bad, he never sits still! He has been doing everything really early. I think that he is going to give me a run for my money. He smiled for the first time at 3 weeks, started talking at 4 weeks, rolled over at 2 months and mow he is constantly moving. He is always rolling over and scooting himself around. He is also learning to use his hands. He loves to play with rattles and other small toys. He also loves his pacifier now. He did not take on till three months but when he found his thumb I tried it again and it stuck.

Well Owen is now two and a half years old. I can not believe that he is growing up so fast. He is now mostly all potty trained! Yeah, he started this proses before Beau was born. He was about 20 months and started asking to go potty. I was told not to potty train before I had the baby because most kids regress after the baby is born. Well he was still doing so well that I decided to put him in underwear while I was home on maternity leave. He is doing really well now. He is having a few accidents but most days he is fine. It is so nice to be done with diapers well mostly done, he still wears them to bed.

Owen is always saying some of the cutest and funniest things. He loves to look at the moon and the stars and when we were leaving my in-laws house after our mothers day dinner this is the conversation he had with his dad!
Owen- "The moon is hiding!"

Bath Time

Beau is growing fast. He is going to be three months on the 11th. He is doing things really fast right now he is talking and smiling all the time and he has rolled over twice now. If he keeps this up he will be crawling soon. He loves to play on the floor, when he is on his back he scoots himself backwards with his feet. I think that I might have my hands full with him as he gets older. He is a really happy baby and I am so excited to say that he started sleeping nights!

I know that these pictures are late but I hope that you enjoy our pictures from Easter. It was a great day. My family came to church with us and after church we had a n Easter Egg hunt that the kids loved! Everyone then came over to our house for dinner and Andy's parents and his aunt Jean joined us. It was so nice to have our family around! We have been very blessed to have our families get along so well!

My sister and her boys came over to dye Easter eggs and we had a lot of fun! The boys loved it and loved having their pictures taken as well. They would see the camera and say cheese! It was so cute. The Easter egg is a great tradition and if you did not know it all started from the stone that was rolled in front of Jesus' tomb. Thank you God for giving us your son as a sacrifice for our sins. I hope that we all take time this Easter to thank God for his son and taking our sins on the cross. The Easter traditions are fun but we should not forget what Jesus did for us on the cross.

Beau started smiling last week at three weeks old. It is so much fun to see your child smile at you for the first time! We are all loving Beau and adjusting well to having a new baby in the house. Owen loves being a big brother and asks to hold Beau all the time. As for mom and dad we are doing well. Beau gets up twice in the night to eat so I am very tired. I am not used to this getting up thing. Owen sleep night right away so it has been and adjustment for me. Andy thinks that Beau does not like him. I think that it is just because the evenings are his fussy time and that is when Andy is at home! Over all we are all doing great. Beau is a great baby and we are loving watching him grow and seeing his BEAUtiful smile!

On Saturday my mom and I went shopping and one of our stops was Dillard's to try on shoes. My mom was trying on some heels and Owen decided that he needed to try them on as well. It was so cute that I have to post pictures of it. Someday he will be mortified about these pictures and will hate that I posted them on the internet!

Last week we took Owen out to ChuchE Cheese for the first time. We meet Melissa, Lacey and the kids for pizza and of course games. Owen had a lot of fun. Andy and I were both very tired and out of it but it was worth it to see O having so much fun.

Baby Update!

Well I went to the doctor on Wednesday morning and I had not changed at all in a week. So we talked about our options and what the doctor would like to see. We have been open this whole pregnancy about doing a v back. My doctor was also encouraging that we would try for a v back but be open minded and just wait and see at the end how things go. This being said since I had not progressed at all we are now looking at doing a c-section. He does not want me to go over due and end up with a huge baby and I really don't want that either! So I left the doctor with the plan of seeing him again on Tuesday morning to see if I have progressed and if we would have the option of inducing, if inducing is not an option we will go ahead with a c-section that is scheduled for Wednesday morning! I am so glad the we have a plan and that I do not have to go through the torture of going over due again.

Our new house!

Well this last July Andy and I bought our first house! Now I have been pregnant for this process so it has taken me some time to get the house looking like it does now. I have slowly been painting and hanging things on the walls. So my mom asked that I would post pictures of what I have gotten done so far. We love our little house and have big plans for every room, but of course it will all take time. I have only posted pictures of the main floor and some day I will post the basement. Right now Andy is finishing the one car detached garage to be his office. This makes me very happy as I won't have to deal with his messy office any more! Right now the basement is 50% finished and we plan on finishing the rest and redoing some of what is already done. Right now our house in three bed rooms and one bath. When we are done it will be four bed rooms and two bathrooms. The house is just under 2000 sq ft with two bed rooms on the main floor and one is the basement. The plan is to add a fourth in the basement as well as that second bathroom.

I love that I have a dinning room and not a small eat in kitchen! We had Thanksgiving at our house this year and it was so much fun! I have painted and hung things on the walls in this room. This is the only room that has the wood floors exposed right now and they need to be redone so when we tear up the carpet in the rest of the house we will redo all of the floors at the same time. We will also replace all the windows in the house a room at a time.

Master Bedroom

This is our master bedroom. I have painted, hung new blinds and a few things on the walls. In this room we plan on opening up the closet and putting up double doors. For some reason we have a full closet and a small door so it is very hard to get to the clothes at the back. We will also redo the wood floors in out room!

This is our small kitchen. I have painted the walls and cabinets. Some day we plan on doing a complete remodel of this room. We want to take everything down to the studs and start over redoing it all from wiring to new cabinets and flooring! Now this will be years down the road as we do not have that kind of money now!

This is the boys room. So far I have painted the room and hung up new blinds. I am wanting to add some planes to the room. I would love to have some pictures of old airplanes printed in a sepia tone and hang some wood plain models from the ceiling! Some day we will pull up the carpet and redo the wood floors. I would like to do that sooner then later but Andy has a different opinion! We will see what happens.

Baby Update!

Well I am 38 weeks now and I had a doctors appointment today. I found out that I am 70% effaced and have started to dilate! The baby's head is down and has started to enter the birth canal. We are getting closer and I can't wait. My grandma's birthday was on the 1st so I would love it if I had the baby on Sunday!

Wrestling!

Sunday after church my family all gets together and has a nice lunch together. Yesterday Andy was playing on the floor with Owen and in comes Tay and Brayden. All three boys attacked Andy and wrestled with him until Andy had no more energy left. When Mitch arrived he joined in on the action! They love it when they get wrestling time even the big boys!

Owen had a sleep over at my parents house as a practice run for when the baby is born. He has never stayed to night with them alone so we thought that it would be a good idea to have him stay with them at least once before hand. He was so excited to have a night alone with them. I dropped him off and told him buy but he was so excited that he did not even notice that I had left for a couple hours! He did really well but my mom had to sleep with him. I think that he will do just fine with out me for a couple days. I how ever still have a hard time leaving him over night. I can't believe that we are about to have another little one soon!

Last year Andy and I took a financial bible study at church and Owen went to grandma and grandpa's house. We would pack his pj's so that he would be ready to come home and go to bed when we were done. HE would some times curl up with one of his grandparents and fall asleep. This time it was papa and papa fell asleep with him! It was to cute to not take a picture of. Thanks mom.

Well this year we had a great Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve with my family hanging out with friends playing games. We all stayed up late even the kids. Melissa and her boys and Andy, Owen and I all spent the night at my parents house. Owen did not sleep well at all and at about three in the morning the refinery had a big explosion. After a long night with little sleep we all got up and had a nice breakfast together. Mitch joined us at about 8 to eat a little and start on the presents. All three boys had a lot of fun opening the presents that they got. Owen wanted to stop and play with everything that he got while Tay just wanted the next gift to tear into! After we finished at my parents house we left for Red Lodge to join Andy's family. We arrived in Red Lodge to a house full of gifts and a turkey dinner just coming out of the over. It was a fun time spent with Drake, Ivy, Kris , Allen, Jean, Vicki and Duncan. We were short this year missing Sara and Brad. I forgot my camera so I am with out pictures from Red Lodge. We spent about five days in Red Lodge with Vicki, Duncan and Jean. Andy skied just about every day with a broken rib. God really blest our Christmas season this year!

I can't believe it my baby boy is now two. I can hardly remember him as a baby. Some day's I wish that I could slow down time. Owen had a blast at his party. He had some of his favorite friends over and of course his cousins! He now understands what presents are.

This year Owen started to understand trick or treating! So we loaded him up and took him to Laurel to go out with his cousins. Tay had been looking forward to Halloween for weeks and he ended up getting really sick and not able to go out. Melissa and I took Owen and Brayden and they had so much fun. Bray wanted to go into everyones house and he called one man Wonka. Both Owen and Brayden love Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory! Owen would say thank you after each time he got a piece of candy, he is always using his manners. They had so much fun together. It's to bad that Tay could not have joined them.

Florida!

In September we went to Florida on vacation to visit our friends Steve and Judy! We had all kind of fun. We spent two days at Disney parks and a day at Daytona Beach. It was our first family vacation and had so much fun. We can't wait to go back and see the Maehl's again.

When ever we had people and it was time for Owen to go to bed he would make his way to the hall. He could not stand being left out so time after time he would fall asleep in the hall. I am glad that he has grown out of that! It was cute but nice that we don't have to fight to get him to stay in bed!

Sara and Mark are back now! One day over the summer Owen and I got to watch Maya for Sara and Mark. Owen was so interested in everything that Maya did. Every time that she made a sound he had to tell me to get the baby. It was so cute to see them together. I only hope that he is as interested in his little brother as he is in Maya!
